Meet the RL Founders

RL Gaming began as a simple clan tag — RL (Red Liquid) — during the early days of Rainbow Six Rogue Spear in the 1990s.
Over time, the name stuck, evolving into a personal gamer identity and eventually becoming RL Gaming with the launch of our Discord in March 2017.

What started as a space for close friends quickly grew into a welcoming gaming community. Through countless late-night sessions, shared laughs, and new friendships, RL Gaming became a place where players truly belong. United by a passion for PC gaming, technology, and building great experiences together, RL Gaming remains a home for like-minded gamers.

Starting as a dedicated FPS player, I was looking for more competitive experiences beyond standard online lobbies. After joining a clan for Black Ops 4 scrims, my journey with RL Gaming began.
Over the years, my focus shifted from competitive play to a broader love for RPGs, while still enjoying a good shooter now and then. An OSRS veteran, Star Citizen believer, and GW2 enjoyer — if a game involves grinding, I’m usually interested.

As a PC enthusiast who has built systems for myself, friends, and family, I found a natural home among like-minded tech lovers in RL. Today, RL Gaming feels like a second home — a close-knit community with plenty of banter, strong friendships, and memorable gaming sessions.
